So, you have created a YouTube channel and within a month, you get a Content ID claim that you have used a clip of a song that is not available for free usage, and eventually don’t come under fair use OR anything happens to your YouTube channel that you need to contact the customer service of YouTube.

There are 3 places where you and gets your HELP button to contact the customer care.

  • You can go to the bottom and click on ‘Help‘.
  • Click on the ‘Send Feedback’
  • Click ‘Contact Us’ option on the top
For the HELP option,

When you click the HELP button at the bottom of the page, there is a search field that pops up. Here, to enter in the query that you’ve got OR you can click through to the BROWSE ALL ARTICLES on the footer of the same pop-up. This option will take you to the YouTube Help Center where you can read and understand step-by-step process of various queries.

Send Feedback option,

This option will help you to fill in your query or a question. If you have a specific problem within a timeframe of your video or others, then you can click and highlight the area, and if you want to black out any information, click on the blackout tab and then you can black that out. So, you can hide/highlight the part you need help à type in your message, in there, and then you click on ‘Send‘.

In the “contacts us page,” they will point you in the general direction of how to contact them depending on what you need. You can contact YouTube at the address below.

NOTE – YouTube generally provides a dedicated support for each of its YouTube channels when they achieve certain performance level. If you have more than 75000 hours or watch time for every 90 days, then you will have a separate email link to contact the YouTube directly.
