How to upload a video

You can check the status bar having options to upload Status, Photo/video, and Product Offer which is basically located above your timeline.

Apart from uploading High Definition videos, make sure that your videos have an aspect ration of 1280 px wide and a  frame rate below 30 fps. You cannot upload video content of 4 GB size and the total time frame should be less than 120 min.


To embed a video,

  • Choose the video
  • Click in the upper right of the post and select Embed Video

Duplicate and enter the code that shows up and adds it to your own site or site page.  In the same method, you can also Embed public videos on your facebook page.

Stop/Start Autoplay

There are instances when a marketer avoids this “Autoplay” feature as this sometimes irritates the user experience with the brand’s facebook page. Here is the way to turn off the Autoplay feature.

  • To Turn of your videos Autoplay feature, go upper right of Facebook, and select Settings
  • Click Videos in the left menu
  • Click the drop-down menu for Autoplay Videos and select Off

According to facebook, if your videos is a facebook advertisement, then choosing cost per thousand impressions bidding will make your ads auto played automatically, unlike Cost Per Click bidding where you will not have an option of Autoplay.

Differentiate your YouTube Channel and FB –  BuzzFeed Tasty

Buzzfeed is a global digital player who has its strong roots in all kinds of social media platform; especially on youtube. But, Buzzfeed tasty maintains their facebook page in a different manner. According to, BuzzFeed tasty uses both image (181) post and videos (90) to engage with their audience.
