An initiative by afaqs, Vdonxt Asia is counted as the one of the biggest events in India in the world of media and entertainment industry. Started in the year 2017, the 3rd edition of the Vdonxt Asia was held on Jan 17-18 2019 in the financial capital of India, Mumbai. The event is amongst the few in the world which sees attendance from all types of stakeholders in the digital video industry right from brands, advertisers, video platforms, content creators and the most important video viewers. The event also hosts an awards night where distinguished contributions in the world of digital video is recognised and celebrated.

3. StreamCon Asia

StreamCon Asia

An initiative by Vidooly, StreamCon Asia is one of the most illustrious new entrants in this sector. The first edition of the event was held in March 2019 in New Delhi. The event was attended by over 400 delegates from various industries and content genres belonging to well-known brands, marketing agencies, digital media companies and video publishing companies. Well known video content creators and web-series artists like Mallika Dua, Gaurav Taneja, BeerBiceps, Gajraj Rao, Nishi Bisht, Elvish Yadav, Round2hell also attended the event. 4. NAB Show

NAB Show

Organised by National Association of broadcasters, NAB show is an annual event held in the month of April at Las Vegas, USA. The first edition was held in the year 1991 and since then the event has been setting new benchmarks in the industry and has been the go to event for any professional associated with any form of content creation. The event sees participation from video producers, production companies, digital video experts, CGI & VFX experts, streaming experts etc. The format includes exhibition, panel discussions, lectures & workshops.

5. Vid Summit

Vid Summit

The pre-fix sums it up. Vid Summit is an annual event solely dedicated to video content creators, influencers and marketers. The tagline says, “Where the World’s Top Video Influencers, Video Marketers & Brands reveal their secrets related to video content creation, distribution and engagement”. The event is held every Oct in LA, USA and 2019th edition of Vid Summit will be its 6th year in a row.

6. Brightcove Play

What’s new, What’s next and What matters in online video all at once place; Brightcove Play, Boston, USA. The event is attended by top video professionals who demonstrate the art of video marketing through latest technology or tools. Sessions at Brightcove play includes case studies, strategy workshops, innovative ideas, tech-a-thon etc all focussed on helping brands and content creators leverage the maximum out of video content.


APOS Event

Organised by Media Partners Asia, APOS is amongst the top annual events for professionals from media and agency background, telecom and entertainment industry. APOS is a great place for brands looking to create maximum value out of their digital ad campaigns in an age of digital disruptions. Asia Television forum is organised in association with Miptv and Mipcom. The 2019 edition of the event will be held in the month of December at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. First edition was organised in the year 2000 and since then the event has flourished along with the growth of Asia’s media industry. The event is held in 2 phases, one being the leadership summit and the other being the marketing conference and networking.

9. Vid Net

Vid Net Event

Entering the golden age of entertainment, Vid Net caters to the entertainment industry of India. The event caters to both perspectives of a video content creator and video ads for brands. Main focus areas of the events are video monetization strategies, new age technology used in video marketing, growth of OTT platforms, use of video analytics etc. 2019 edition of the event is being organised in Mumbai.
