In his coming out video, he requests everyone to chill out to make life simpler. He mentions that he has an interest in psychology which helps him understand life in the bigger perspective.

Shannon Beveridge:

Shannon Beveridge is a YouTuber, actress and LGBT advocate who runs the channel NowThisIsLiving. She was the winner of the best LGBTQ+ YouTube Channel at the 9th Shorty Awards and the LGBT+ Celebrity Rising Star Award at the 2017 British LGBT Awards. In her coming out video, she mentions that it is one of the longest coming out story. She highlights the major events of the story to her audience in a 15 minute video. Her family was supportive of her coming out and didn’t want to give her the extra stress that comes with being gay.

Kat Blaque:

Kat Blaque is an American YouTuber and Transgender Rights Activist. Her YouTube channel is focussed on discussing race, gender and other social justice issues. In the video, she mentions that her coming out story is a complicated one and thus shares the full story with her audience in a long 30 minute video.

Gregory Brown:
Orientation – Gay

Gregory Brown along with his partner Mitchell Moffit run the YouTube channel ASAPScience which produces weekly videos on various topics of science. They also have an alternative channel called Greg and Mitch where they share videos from their daily life. They have been together for seven and a half years and their families have been extremely supportive. They felt the need to come out again as they have received some negative responses on their sexuality as well.

Dodie Clark:
Orientation – Bisexual

Dodie Clark is an English singer-songwriter and YouTuber who runs the YouTube channel doodleoddle. She also owns a vlog channel called doodlevloggle as well as a VEVO channel called dodieVEVO. In her main channel she uploads cover songs and original music. During the pride month, she posted a coming out video in the form of a song where she tells her audience that she is bisexual. She mentions in the video that she is proud to be the B in LGBTQ.

Michael Buckley:
Orientation – Gay

Michael Buckley is an American YouTuber, comedian and vlogger. His content revolves around pop culture events and celebrities. He owns the channel BuckHollywood as his main channel and another one by his name where he vlogs his daily life. In his advice series – Love, Buck! he comes out as an answer to a fan mail.

Chrissy Chambers:
Orientation – Lesbian

Chrissy Chambers along with her partner Bria Kam are a singing and acting lesbian duo best known for their YouTube channels BriaAndChrissy and Lesbian Love, where they perform original songs, comedy skits, and promote awareness for LGBT rights. In her coming out video, Chrissy mentions that it took her two years to accept that she is a Lesbian.

James Charles:

James Charles is an American YouTuber and model. He is openly gay and came out at the age of 12. At the age of seventeen, he became the first male spokesmodel for cosmetics brand CoverGirl, working alongside brand ambassador Katy Perry.

Lucas Cruikshank:
Orientation – Gay

Lucas Alan Cruikshank is an American actor and YouTuber who created the character Fred Figglehorn and the associated Fred series for his channel. His videos are centered on this character, a fictional six-year-old who has a dysfunctional home life and “anger management issues”

Elijah Daniel:
Orientation – Gay

Elijah Daniel is an American author and comedian. His popularity grew due to his comedy on YouTube. He is the author of the erotic novel “Trump Temptations”. Daniel was nominated for Best Comedian with collaborator Christine Sydelko, and won the award at the 9th Shorty Awards. Elijah publicly came out as gay in a QnA video on his second channel.

Shane Dawson:
Orientation – Bisexual

Shane Dawson is an American YouTuber, actor, author, sketch comedian, singer, songwriter and film director. Dawson was known for making comedy videos featuring recurring original characters he has created, celebrity impersonations, and spoofs of popular music videos and television shows. As of 2017, Dawson predominantly uses his second YouTube channel, shane, posting mostly comedic vlogs.He mentions in his coming out video that he has been sexually confused for over an year and wished that he was either 100% straight or gay.

Gabrielle Diana:

Gabrielle Diana is a Canadian transgender teen, CEO of Into Full Bloom, musician, and trans educator. Gladu has been involved in helping the trans community gain recognition and visibility, as well as dedicating much of herself to documenting her transition online. Gladu has gained a large following on social media, and has become close friends with fellow people in the transgender community.

Rose Ellen Dix:
Orientation – Lesbian

Rose Ellen Dix along with her partner Rosie Spaughton run the YouTube channel Rose & Rosie. The duo has gained popularity due to their British comedy and entertainment videos on YouTube. The both have their second respective channels as well. Rose Ellen Dix releases more comedy style videos while TheRoxtera focuses primarily on vlogs of the couple’s everyday life.

Connor Franta:

Connor Franta is an American Youtuber, entrepreneur, entertainer and writer. He has a self-named main channel and has recently involved himself in various entrepreneurial enterprises, including a clothing line, music curation, as well as a coffee and lifestyle brand named Common Culture. In January 2016, Franta won the “Favorite YouTube Star” award at the 42nd People’s Choice Awards. In his coming out video, he mentions that he realised being gay at the early age of 12.

Joey Graceffa:

Joey Graceffa is a YouTuber, actor, author, producer and singer. He runs two YouTube channels, one for vlogging and one for video game content. In his coming out video, he mentions that it was hard for him to admit that he was gay. The first time he said it to himself was in the bathroom mirror which later disgusted him. Finally at the age of 19, he felt okay with being gay.

Mitch Grassi:

Mitch Grassi is a part of a five-member American a cappella group called Pentatonix. Characterized by their pop-style arrangements with vocal harmonies, basslines, riffing, percussion and beatboxing, they are widely known for their covers, mostly of modern pop works or Christmas songs, sometimes in the form of medleys, along with original material.

Eva Gutowski:

Eva Gutowski is an American YouTuber who runs the YouTube channel MyLifeAsEva.  People termed her YouTube’s fastest growing star.She has also been included in Billboard’s Social Media Stars list. She is the author of My life as Eva: The Struggle is Real. She also has her own YouTube Red show called Me and My Grandma.

Todrick Hall:

Todrick Hall is an American  rapper, singer, actor, dancer, director, choreographer, and YouTuber. He rose to prominence on the ninth season of American Idol, where he made it to the semi-finals. Since then, Hall has become notable as a Broadway veteran, YouTube star, and judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race. His videos include original songs, music videos, musical collaborations and personal updates.

Hannah Hart:

Hannah Hart is an American YouTuber, comedian, author and actress. She is best known for starring in “My Drunk Kitchen”, a weekly series on YouTube in which she cooks something while intoxicated. Apart from her main channel, she also runs a second channel where she talks about life in general and gives her opinions on various topics.

Brendan Jordan is an American YouTuber. He identifies himself as Genderfluid in his coming out video. Brendan went viral after dancing moves from Applause in the background of a live broadcast on NewsChannel 8.

Gigi Lazzarato:

Gigi Lazzarato is a Canadian YouTuber, model and actress. She runs the YouTube channel Gigi Gorgeous. She is noted for coming out as a Transgender Lesbian and maintaining her image before and after the transition. Alongside being a YouTuber, she has appeared in a lot of TV shows as well.

Trevor Moran:

Trevor Moran is an American YouTuber, recording artist, singer and X-Factor contestant. He runs a YouTube channel which goes by his name. He won the 2014 Teen Choice Awards for the “Choice Web Star: Comedy” category. In his coming out video, he mentions that he wasn’t really in a closet but in a glass closet which everyone could see him being gay.

Ingrid Nilsen:

Ingrid Nilsen is an American YouTuber who creates videos around fashion, lifestyle and make-up. She had a fear of public speaking, hence as a challenge to overcome that she started her own YouTube channel. She also maintains a second channel on YouTube entitled “TheGridMonster” on which she posts her vlogs and more candid content.

Tyler Oakley:

Tyler Oakley is an American YouTuber, podcast personality, author and activist. Much of Oakley’s activism had been dedicated to LGBT youth, LGBT rights, as well as social issues including healthcare, education, and the prevention of suicide among LGBT youth. Ethan Zachery Scott is an American YouTuber and actor. Scott appeared in the world premiere of the 2012 play War Bride, by Samantha Macher, which won seven StateSceneLA awards, including Best World Premiere Play.

Troye Sivan:

Troye Sivan is a South African-born Australian YouTuber, singer, songwriter and actor. On 15 August 2014, Sivan released his first major-label EP, entitled TRXYE, which peaked at number 5 on the U.S. Billboard 200. His video, “The ‘Boyfriend’ Tag”, with fellow vlogger Tyler Oakley earned them a Teen Choice Award in the “Choice Web Collaboration” category. In October 2014, Time named Sivan as one of the “25 Most Influential Teens of 2014”.

Rosie Spaughton:
