Entertainment18 Coolest Hidden YouTube Easter Eggs

Google’s entertaining sister YouTube, has also got some Easter Eggs or cool hidden treasures for its users just like Google. But funnier and not so easy to find. Although, some Easter eggs don’t work anymore like the Snake Game, where you just click the left button on your keyboard while your video’s buffering, and the game starts. But what you can enjoy, are these 18 fun hidden YouTube Easter eggs. Try them out on your computer, they are worth the distraction.

1. “Doge Meme”

When you type  “doge meme” in the YouTube search box and hit enter, you can see the entire page’s text appearing in multicoloured Comic Sans font. Such Wow, Many cool, much colour, check must.
much doge

2. “Beam Me Up, Scotty”

Putting “beam me up scotty” in the search box will give your youtubes the classic Star Trek by beaming the videos on your result page.

3. “Pow”erpuff your video with Comic book mode

Add “&pow=1&nohtml5=1’ at the end of a video URL that you are currently watching. You can see a small “pow” button to the video features, Click that and your video will appear comic book-ish. If you wish to watch your video in the normal mode, just click on the “pow” button again. FYI- It doesn’t work on Claimed Videos.

5. Play Missile Command with “1980”

Same as 1980, when you type “1337” on a video page, it will make your comments appear in ‘1337 (LEET) Speak’. Check it out.

7. Fibonacci

Putting “Fibonacci” in the YT search bar will arrange your results in a tiled effect like a Fibonacci Mathematical sequence trick.

8. “Use the Force Luke”

Searching for “use the force luke” will give a wavy effect to the results and you can move the videos around the screen with the force… of your mouse.

9. ‘My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic’ Trick

Search “ponies” or “bronies” and cute little ponies will fly across your screen for a few seconds. And if you search the names of characters from the show like “Rainbow Dash”, the top bar will appear in the character’s colour.

This will give you a plain white or plain black background to view videos on, where there are no distractions. Like the comments or recommended videos column.
