This #TrickTipTuesday, showing you how to boardslide street style features.
As you get better at jibbing, you're going to hit more and more street style features which require you to approach from either the Frontside or Backside. Once you can 50-50 those features, it's time to start Boardsliding them. Remember these four tips for your boardslides:
1. Approach from either the Frontisde or Backside and get good pop to make the nose of you board get over the feature
2. Use counter rotation to get the board perpendicular to the feature
3. Ensure your base is completely flat against the rail to lock on
4. Look at the end of the feature to slide the entire length
While these features are technically tougher, remember these four tips and you'll be well on your way to having boardslides dialled!

It’s the Shifty Frontside 180 for this weeks #tricktiptuesday!
If you’re not sure what we’re on about here, a Shifty Front 180 is just a stylized version of a Frontside 180. Counter rotation is key here, as the upper and lower body twisting against each other in the air is what allows you to stall it out. For a full Shifty Front 180, you need to Shifty at the very start of the trick into the opposite direction of the 180, meaning you will be doing a Backside Shifty. Once you have poked the Backside Shifty, unwind the counter rotation to bring the board around for landing. #snowboardaddiction 🏂@nevlapwood 🎬@vinceemond
Adding grabs to your Backside 180s for this week’s #TrickTipTuesday.
Although the Backside 180 is a simple trick, adding some different grabs will change it completely and make it stand out! Get these 6 grabs locked in first: Indy, Mute, Melon, Stale, Nose & Tail.
Once you’ve got the Backside 180 dialled, the key is to suck those legs up even more while in the air to make grabbing your board even easier. Start with your best grab but remember to always work on all 6 to get them locked in. This is because different grabs work better with different spin variations and will ultimately allow you to progress faster.
Good luck with you Backside 180s! 🏂: @nevlapwood 📹: @aninavisuals #SnowboardAddiction
We’re stepping it up a touch for this week’s #TrickTipTuesday with the Frontside Cork 540.
There is no better feeling in snowboarding than a big ol’ floaty Front Cork 5 and today, we’ll explain how you can manipulate the axis to add your own style.
Kicking your leg more horizontally as you initiate the your shoulders into the rotation will make this trick look flatter and more like a proper corked Spin. On the other hand, kicking your leg more vertically and upwards will make this trick look more like a Backflip with a 180 degree Spin. This is called an Underflip 180.
Either way, the Front Cork 5 is a killer trick that allows you to show your personal style. 🏂: @chasebaines 📹: @aninavisuals #SnowboardAddiction

The Switch Straight Air for this week’s #TrickTipTuesday.
While a switch straight Air is exactly the same as a normal straight air, because you are in a switch stance it can feel super uncomfortable. But, being able to switch straight air allows you to confidently take on tougher tricks where you may need to land or take off switch.
Keep your base flat as you approach the jump and as you leave the lip. At the same time, you also need to keep a neutral body position with your shoulders aligned over the base of your board. By keeping a flat base and everything aligned you will ensure you are in a balanced position as you leave the lip, which will allow you to stomp the landing!
