  • Dad of the year? Are you serious?
I had to speak up about this after I watched this. This dad like many are the problem with kids football.
Why is he near the goal? To encourage the kid, to tell him what to do?
From this footage I see the boy talking with his dad. Has he been distracted in the 1st place because he was spoken to?
Then because he’s not looking he gets pushed PUSHED to the ground to make the save.
I’m disgusted by behaviour of parents on the sidelines. He’s a little kid who needs to learn from his own mistakes. Yet a parent here is pushing him to the ground to make a save and then as a look of disappointment when the goal goes in.
What about the boy? He will probably had his confidence knocked back and I bet he got it in the ear right after this or after the game. If he’s not physically hurt he mentally will be.

I can say so much on this but how are kids going to learn or stay in the game if they can’t just play? Play is the word here and the game should be fun for them. Not to be hammered by parents or adults that think they should be doing everything perfect by the age of 7 or whatever age they are. Why interfere during a game at all?

I’m afraid this lad culture or attitude of big instagram pages makes behaviour like this seem ok. THIS IS NOT OK! And many parents on the sidelines say worse and do worse for their own benefit. Not for their kids, it’s for them.
Leave your thoughts in the comments as I want to continue the conversation
