  • These salad servers are simple to make in a couple hours and they make great gifts.

  • Advent calendars are a really fun way to start anticipating Christmas. Starting on December 1st, you open a new present every day until the 25th.
Most of these countdown calendars are made with lots of little doors and are very tedious to make. This version has 25 hand-wrapped presents, each containing candy. The gift boxes themselves are colorful so they look nice back on the tree once they are unwrapped.

  • A couple of 2x4 tips. Finding decent ones can take some time! Watch the complete video on my YouTube show or on Facebook. Link in my Bio. #woodworking #sawhorses #lumber

  • In this video, I'll show you step-by-step how to make a pair of space-saving, folding sawhorses.

Start by cutting the legs from 2x4s. TIP: Make sure to get kiln-dried (KD) and take your time to find the straightest boards you can.

  • Continuing my living room re-furnishing with a floor lamp. Sticking with my retro theming, I decided to make the legs using the same chevron shapes I cut out in my Jetsons wall clock. This is the first piece in the room which I built out of solid wood. I wanted to retain the soft, rounded edges of the table part of the lamp and that would be difficult with plywood.

  • SIMPLE CONTAINER GARDENING FOR SMALL SPACES
If you haven’t tried your hand at gardening, an herb garden is a great place to start. It is very satisfying and doesn’t require a green thumb. Herbs need very little space and grow well in containers. Plus, most herbs tend to grow fairly quickly. In no time, you’ll be able to snip off fresh basil for your pasta sauce while you are cooking. Nothing is fresher than that
