I’ve been juicing for 30 years, practicing some form of intermittent fasting and calorie restriction. Having an empty stomach free from metabolic processes allows my mind to be clear and a body that is not bogged down by digestion so I can complete my biggest tasks throughout the day.

I typically start eating solid food around 3 PM and have one or two meals a day before going to sleep. -

I do break the rule of eating before I go to sleep because it helps my blood sugar at night. The food digest perfectly as expressed in my toilet bowl in the morning.

So I encourage you to break all the “rules“ and figure out what works for you as an individual.

Always remember that Kellogg’s and General Mills funded a lot of the nutrition “science” coming out of the 50s that was then promoted through the news media, to sell their grain commodities and breakfast cereals. “Eat a big breakfast“ does not work for my metabolism and overall wellness program.

this has been corroborated by a friend who read the book “warrior diet“ (you don’t need another diet book) where the men would go out and hunt fasted, on an empty stomach and clear mind and then would gorge around the fire later in the day.

I have not read the book but the information resonated with me when @rynoglobal Ryan Hughes shared it with me. in fact that’s how I accumulate information and create systems around what works for me as an individual. I take in all sides of holistic nutrition, commercial food propaganda coupled with anthropological knowledge and then test it inside my own system. It’s not the information… It’s the implementation and application of information. = #Authenticity
