Read this paragraph and just thought I’d share!. . “Just because you are embarrassed to admit that you’re still living the consequences of bad decisions made 5, 10, or 20 years ago, shouldn’t stop you from making good decisions now. If you let pride stop you, you will hate life 5, 10 ,20 years from now. Being able to quit things that don’t work is integral to being a winner. . It can be so hard to change your path, especially if it’s one that you are accustomed to. You’ll often hear “But, you don’t understand my situation. It’s complicated!” But is it really? Don’t confuse the complex with the difficult. Most situations are simple - many are just emotionally difficulty to act upon. . The problem and the solution are usually obvious and simple. It’s not that you don’t know what to do. Of course you do. You are just terrified that you might end up worse off than you are now. Cut the cord - pulling off a band-aid is easier and less painful than you think.” . The game of life is meant to be played. Stop wasting time; quit the job you hate, or the relationship you’re unhappy in. Move out of a situation if it’s doing more harm than good. Decide at this point, that you can’t be worse off, because it all works out in the end. Just take that leap of faith. . T. Puppy Press Progression. . To anyone who’s been following my yoga journey, puppy press handstand felt like a dream! I remember not even knowing how to hold a proper handstand, but still trying to puppy press for days on end. I think all of that muscle memory built up (consistency is key), and before you know it, ya girl is pressing! Can you believe it? I can’t! I know yoga isn’t about the crazy things your body can do, but it feels good to know that when you put your mind and body to something, and put in the work, magic happens. . Some tips on Puppy press- Even if you can’t hold it yet, keep training that motion of tucking one foot into the chest and trying to lift the other one up and use blocks to help you. Focus on lengthening your hamstrings (this is key!). You should be able to reach down to the floor, and press the ground away from you. Also, activate that core right before you lift off! The trick is tucking one knee into your chest, leaning until that leg is in line with your hips, and slowly lifting the other leg up. It’s a twist and tuck motion so play around with it until you get comfortable and DON’T GIVE UP! It will come!!. . I have a million and one thoughts on my mind. Sometimes I get overwhelmed and don’t know where to start or finish, sometimes I’m so inspired I’m bouncing off the walls, and other times I find myself getting frustrated to the point of crying over silly things. . Tips on overcoming these waves: 1) Be patient with yourself. 2) Enjoy the bouts of inspiration but when it gets tough, just quiet your mind 3) It’s okay to take breaks - some days I just do something completely different instead 4) Be persistent. If you want something, put in the work and work towards it. Even if you take a day off, come back with a fever to go the extra mile 5) Be confident - even when you think that you want to give up on something you want, try to be confident and believe 110% in yourself 6) Surround yourself with people who genuinely support you, and turn to them when things get rough. 7) Manifest it- Whatever you want, is waiting for you. Trust in yourself and keep manifesting it. It will come and it will happen. . What are some ways you overcome these waves.
