One of my goals is to continue to re-define what a class video can be, all while giving the dancers a proper training experience. @jojogomezxo is the perfect person to do this with because she truly cares about her students and them learning how to perform on and off camera, as well as many other necessary values and ideas that make someone a great dancer. It makes me happy knowing people walk away with a unique experience at my studio, and love being able to contribute to that experience with added production value. Much props to these 3 and their artistry in this clip, @jojogomezxo @kayceericeofficial @baileysok1 you’re insane! Oh and @wherearetheavocados is a force to be reckoned with! #YouShouldSeeMeInACrown

I took this video a year ago today. I had just signed the lease on my building the previous day, and wanted to do a quick walk around and plan out what the studio would be like. It took 9 months from that point to have our first class. I worked quietly on this all that time and only let my closest friends know what I was doing. Of all the milestones I had in 2018, nothing compares to being able to create a place I hope many in the LA dance community will call home. I work really hard and rarely ever take a moment to appreciate my achievements. But I’ll say it here. I’m fucking proud of myself, and I’m proud of us. Thank you to those who believed in me in 2018. I can’t wait to share my love and appreciation for dance and film with you in the years to come ✌🏼❤️
